The Nigerian Football Federation has announced the sack of Super Eagles Head Coach of Nigeria, Stephen Keshi and his team staff despite beating Sudan 3-1 last night.
His sack was announced today after an emergency meeting which was held last night in Abuja;
According to NFF, “In the interest of Nigeria football and the desire to ensure qualification for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations finals, the Committee decided to relieve them of their duties with immediate effect.”
56-year-old Amodu Shuaibu , who has coached the national team (interim coach) before has been appointed as to replace Keshi, pending when they get a new coach.
